The Cluster Yachting Monaco, a centre of competitiveness uniting interdependent organisations and companies operating in the yachting and maritime sector, aims to bring together professionals working in the Monaco marketplace. It was established on the initiative of a top level committee (Conseil Stratégique pour l’Attractivité de Monaco) set up by the Monaco Government three years ago.
- In accordance with the wishes of all its members, the Cluster is there to provide a platform of communication between professionals in the Principality.
- The primary goal is to interact and generate dialogue with decision-makers and develop synergies between professionals, with a willingness to be open to other related business sectors.
As a founding member of the Cluster Yachting Monaco, Espen Oeino International is delighted by the enthusiasm and interest the Cluster has generated in yacht-related sectors, both in Monaco and outside.
Historically, yachts have always been attracted to Monaco. Today the yachting industry and the many peripheral activities associated with it comprise a significant share of the local economy and provide numerous jobs both on boats and ashore. The Cluster Yachting Monaco’s aim is to ensure the Monaco authorities are aware of its significance and make Monaco the capital of yachting.Espen Oeino, Chairman, Espen Oeino International
The newly created Cluster Yachting Monaco, from its prestigious headquarters at the Yacht Club, will be the vehicle enabling the Principality of Monaco to achieve excellence in terms of its marine services and reception of wealthy owners, guests and crew who stay over in Port Hercule and Fontvieille Port.Mario Velonà, Director, Ocean Independence SAM
